Felicia Connor, Psy.D. ABPP-RP
Felicia Connor, Psy.D. ABPP-RP is one of the founding members of Growing Bones Pediatric and Neuromuscular Orthopeadic Institute. She is a licensed clinical psychologist in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New York. She is Board Certified in Rehabilitation Psychology. She has substantial experience working with children, adolescents, and adults providing psychotherapy with individuals, families, and groups. For the last decade, she has specialized in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation for individuals with medical and neurological conditions like concussion, brain injury, and multiple sclerosis. Her foundational training has prepared her to work with individuals who experience depression, trauma, anxiety, adjustment to disability, grief, pediatric and behavioral management, confidence building for high achieving individuals, relationship issues, employer burn-out, and multicultural issues. Integrating cognitive behavioral therapy, spirituality, solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions have been instrumental in helping individuals feel empowered and confident to move their lives forward. Ultimately, she wants to support individuals to change their mind to change their life.
Dr. Connor completed her undergraduate degree at Johnson C. Smith University and graduated from Argosy University with a doctorate in clinical psychology. She trained at Mt. Washington Children’s Hospital (Baltimore, MD) and Holcomb Behavioral Health for her internship and post-doctoral year. She held a psychologist position at A.I. DuPont Children’s Hospital in the rehabilitation department. She is a senior level psychologist at NYU Langone Health where she works in a rehabilitation setting with individuals with neurological and medical conditions and supervises pre-doctoral interns.
